We love the fact that the size and types of our projects are diverse. Sionas Architecture believes that this is what architecture is all about. As such, we have been recognized accordingly.
A large, mixed and adaptive reuse project, Hillside Square, was named a 2013 NJ Smart Growth Award winner, and was presented with the 2012 NJ Downtown Excellence Award for conversion of a 1926 Christian Science Church into a vibrant green building and site.
Eight projects have been awarded with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification to date.
The Montclair Township Historic Preservation Commission has named our firm as the recipient of seven Historic Preservation Awards.
We have been awarded for Excellence in Historic Residential Renovation and also recipients of recognition for our work in maintaining socio-economic diversity in our community.
Our work has been featured on HGTV’s Curb Appeal, in Money Magazine, Elle Décor, the New York Times, frequently in local print and digital newspapers and on NBC's Open House.
We have been awarded with a Preservation Award from the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Monmouth County Historical Commission for the Adaptive Re-use of First Church of Christ, Scientist, known as the 211 Broad Project in Red Bank, New Jersey.
